Rod Wave’s follow-up to 2020’s Pray 4 Love is currently stuck in limbo according to the platinum-selling Florida singer. He took to his Instagram stories on Saturday (January 30) and posted the cover for his upcoming Hard Times album with a strong message for his label home.

“Pussy ass label playing wit a nigga shit,” he wrote. “I ain’t dropping shit fuck ya pay me. Y’all wanna album ask @alamorecords.” The post was later deleted from his account.

In December 2020, Rod initially shared the cover to Hard Times on Instagram, asking fans if they were ready to take in the new music. The album would be his first since 2020’s Pray 4 Love, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and spawned the hit single “Rags2Riches” with Lil Baby.
