Saweetie and Cardi B are in the same family of sorts as they’re both dating Migos members, but they’ve yet to get in the booth and solidify their relationship on wax. That doesn’t mean it’s not coming, though!

In a new interview with Greg Street on V-103 in Atlanta, the Bay Area native got excited at the prospect of a Cardi collab and made it clear that it will eventually happen.

“I can [hear that] too,” Saweetie said. “That would tear the club up, okay?! I think that would be cute. I think that would be a special moment as well. I can’t wait to collaborate with her!”

She also wants to get a good studio session in with her boo Quavo, as the other songs they’ve appeared on together were on beats that were already established – making it less organic.

“So we haven’t had the time because we’re so busy, but I told him, ‘This next record…’,” she said. “Like ’cause the last two records, three records we did together – the beat was already made. I feel like my best work comes from sitting in the studio with the producers and making the record with them so I definitely want to sit in the studio with my boo and create something from scratch, from the ground up. So if we’re able to make that in time, he will be on the album.”

Saweetie is currently gearing up to drop her her Pretty B*tch Music album some time this year, and recently released the Doja Cat-assisted “Best Friend” as its latest single.
