Saweetie kicks off 2021 on Thursday (January 7) with the release of the Doja Cat collab that she previously teased and nearly prematurely arrived in December. The “ICY GRL” rapper and Doja are inseparable companions throughout the glossy “Best Friend” visual.

Saweetie and Doja are laying out by the pool listening to another “fake woke misogynist” and then finally get fed up with him and enjoy a night on the town. The provocative duo takes a spin in a glittering silver Tesla, which finds Saweetie even twerking on the hood.

They make stops at designer shops for new handbags, the strip club where they make it rain dollar bills, hang out for a bestie sleepover and then close out the bougie Dave Meyers-directed clip by getting naked and going cliff jumping for the first time.

The twitchy “Best Friend” is slated to land on Saweetie’s anticipated Pretty B*tch Music album, which should arrive later in 2021. Fans can expect to find production from an all-star cast on the LP that includes a lineup of Timbaland, Danja, Lil John, Murda Beatz and more.

I’m hands-on with ALL of my creative & had such a dope rollout for ‘best friend’. The thirst for clout & $ is real & it overrides the artists’ art.”
