Dr. Dre remains under the watchful eye of doctors as he continues to recover from a reported brain aneurysm. According to TMZ, Dre is still in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) a week after being rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on January 4.
Doctors are still trying to figure out what caused the brain bleed as the West Coast rap mogul continues to undergo a series of tests. Sources claim Dre is now resting comfortably and he believes he’s avoided a “bad outcome.”
Shortly after being hospitalized, the production legend took to Instagram to let his followers know he was doing well and expected to be going home soon.
“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes,” he wrote. “I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One love!”

Dre’s Pacific Palisades home became the target for an attempted burglary once news broke of him being hospitalized. Four men were arrested after being spotted by security early January 6 on Dre’s property. They never made it inside the house but were staking out the outside when security confronted them.
Dre’s divorce also took a turn last week when he reportedly agreed to give his estranged wife Nicole Young the $2 million in temporary spousal support she has been demanding since filing for divorce in June. The Hip Hop mogul signed the agreement, which includes a “one-time check” but not the $5 million for her legal fees, from his hospital bed.
