Pharrell Tells ‘Drink Champ’s He’d ‘Snitch’ In A Heartbeat: ‘I’m Not A Tough Guy!’

Pharrell Williams was the latest guest on REVOLT’s Drink Champs where he chopped it up with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN about a bevy of topics, including the Drake and Pusha T beef in 2018.

During the conversation, the subject of snitching also came up and the N.E.R.D co-founder didn’t hesitate to admit he’d definitely be on the phone with 9-1-1 if it meant securing his freedom, something he learned one night hanging out with Lil Wayne at a New Orleans club where “everybody had a gun.”

“Literally, I’m not a tough guy, I’m staying my ass inside and the fucking FBI is on speed dial, bro,” Pharrell said as the room erupts with laughter. “I’m not a fucking tough guy. You people say things about snitching … I’m fucking snitching! Don’t talk to me about all that!

“Everybody plays their part, this is a movie, you guys, everybody plays their part. I am snitching! Don’t do nothing around me, I’m not built for the jail life.”

As N.O.R.E and the rest of the Drink Champs posse continued to burst out in laughter, Pharrell remained steadfast.

“I am snitching!” he repeats. “The fuck you mean? You can’t get mad at me. I have a purpose, I have to be me, I have to do my job, and I have to play my part in this movie. And my part is, ‘I told you not to do that shit, I told you I wasn’t built for this, I’m really sorry but this is your deal. Your honor, jury, are you guys listening?

Pharrell Says The Beef Between Pusha T & Drake Broke His Heart

“I asked if he was gonna do it, don’t fucking tell me.’ Everybody’s not fucking tough. You’re not gonna go do 25 years in a condition that you know you are not built for because you wanna look tough. I am not fucking tough. You know what I wanna look like? Fucking free and happy, living my life.”

Funk Flex adamantly agreed. He shared the clip to his Instagram account and wrote in the caption, “Jail? Hold up! Hey to reiterate… I know I been around a lot of rappers lately… but don’t involve me in NO CRIME.. I’m telling! From the desk of CIVILIAN FUNKFLEX! @therealnoreaga x @pharrell facts!”

    1. I’m so tired of this dumb shit. Does he really not understand? Do this many people in the world not understand? Pharrell was never in the streets. Pharrell never got a dollar out the streets. Pharrell was never committing crimes. Pharrell never lived on the other side of the law. So, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM TO SNITCH. There is no such thing as him snitching. Why is this so hard for people to understand. When he calls “The FBI on speed dial” as he says, that’s not snitching. When he calls 911 that’s not snitching. Nobody’s going to say it was snitching. Damn, this is dumb.

      1. No you are the confused one, snitching is the act of telling on someone when you’re not the victim. If say jon goes and shoots jr but vince sees it and reports it to the police, vince is considered a snitch. Jon isn’t gonna think “oh he’s not out there in the streets so he didn’t just snitch me out.” No, what would actually happen is jon is gonna be mad at vince for snitching on him and is probably thinking about how to get revenge on the guy that just snitched on him. But the difference is if jr goes and reports it then he’s a victim, nobody’s gonna hold it against him cause he’s the one that got shot. Unless of course he is considered to be active out in the streets which then he would be considered a snitch. But anyone that isn’t a victim can definitely be viewed as a snitch 100%

          1. The new generation is trying to change the narrative and make it ok to be a snitch, but in reality even granny’s get shot up for talking too much, that’s why older people in the hood know to just go home and keep their mouths shut when police come asking questions, its this new generation trying to justify it, notice pharrell himself called it snitching cause he knows it doesn’t matter. When its little kids and 1 tells on another, the kids call him a snitch right? Stop trying to justify snitching to just certain people, if you snitch on someone be prepared for the consequences of snitching regardless of your street position or lack of, like I said before even old people get shot up for snitching

    2. The dude did a concert to raise money for the Israeli army(they raised millions). But you’re not tough? You were tough enough to provide guns to murder children but now you’re not tough?

The dude is a human rights violating coward.

    3. I hope the snitch debate finally ends in 2021. Im sick of hearing about everyone’s fucking opinion. All Tekashi did was bring up a grey area in the street code about if you should stay loyal to those who didnt stay loyal to you ? Thats a topic that needs to be debated more often rather than the topic of “snitching” itself. Is loyalty unconditional ? Or is loyalty a pact that has to be honored by both parties similar to a truce ? If one party breaks the pact, does the loyalty become null and void moving foward ? Thats the real question…

      1. There’s a difference between snitching and testifying. If you’re involved but you’re telling to get yourself less time that’s snitching.

    4. But he said in “drop it like it’s hot” all kind of gangsta mess now he’s not about that life?

    5. All of you ppl commenting will snitch testify whatever you want to call it. On here acting like you all are so damn hardcore/ retarded and chose to spend life or a decade in prison. And if you respond with some bs your the one who will be getting punished by THE BOOTY BANDIT in jail and end up loving it.

    6. The truth is if your doing anything immoral and harmful to human life or property you are liable to get in trouble for it and people have every right to call you out for it. Thats the truth. Stop trying to do evil and expect not to be pointed out for it it really is that simple.
