It appears that Gucci Mane is taking his Verzuz battle with Jeezy to another level by seemingly creating one with himself. Following the live event on Thursday (November 19), Wop doubled-down on his claim of being in a class by himself with his Trap God Classics: I Am My Only Competition compilation project.

The incredibly long 28-track project encompasses nearly two-decades worth of Gucci Mane’s classic hits like “Freaky Girl” and “Lemonade” and is capped off with the Jeezy-assisted track “So Icy.”

The album arrives as somewhat of a calculated, and possibly petty surprise, considering Jeezy announced his new album The Recession 2 earlier this month prior to the Verzuz battle. Gucci spent the week leading up to the competition taunting Jeezy with the death of his late friend, and even performed his diss-track “The Truth,” during the battle, to rub more salt in the wound.

“Aye man listen all respect. I appreciate you for throwing out the olive branch, I accept that. No disrespect it’s all love,” Gucci Mane said to Jeezy.
