For the 10th anniversary of her debut album Pink Friday, Nicki Minaj is looking to celebrate in a big way. The leader of the Barbz took to Twitter on Wednesday (November 18) to announce the plans she had ready for the celebration.

““Barbz, Friday is the 10 year anniversary of Pink Friday. get your outfits ready for the virtual celebration,” Nicki wrote in the tweet. To no surprise, Nicki’s devoted fans already began carousing in her comments which led to another tweet explaining when the virtual festivities would begin.

Nicki and fans have reason to celebrate the anniversary. Pink Friday gave Nicki her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart as well as several Grammy nominations, including best rap album, best rap performance and best new artist. The album elevated the Queens rapper to superstar status following a promising mixtape run in the late 00s.

Nicki’s last musical effort came in 2018 with Queen, and fans are patiently waiting for the next installment. In that time, she got married to Kenneth “Zoo” Petty in 2019 and recently gave birth to her first child, a boy, in October.
