With the murder ofKing Von shaking Hip Hop to its core, many are looking for answers as to what sparked the fatal shootout which left three dead outside an Atlanta hookah lounge. As speculation mounts of Quando Rondo‘s crew being involved, fans dug up footage of Rondo and Von hanging out as friends at some point in the past.
The video finds Rondo ragging on those from 63rd in Chicago, which is a rival to Von’s O’Block clique. The fallen rapper made a habit of shouting out “we not from 63rd” on tracks.
“@Quando_Rondo my boy know how da fuck we rocking bitch,” the undated clip is captioned.
Police moved quickly to arrest 22-year-old Timothy Leeks on Saturday (November 7) for Von’s murder. Leeks raps under the alias Lul Tim and is allegedly an associate of Quando Rondo. He was hit with felony murder charges and treated for his own gunshot injuries at a nearby Atlanta hospital.

Adding another layer to this is the fact Rondo is signed to Young Boy Never Broke Again. Days prior to his death, Von did an interview with DJ Akademiks where he cleared up that he didn’t have any real issues with YoungBoy and the friction was a byproduct of the internet.
“They be saying that a lot,” he began. “It’s like, we got the same issues and hoes and then you know how the internet will try to make it. Nah it’s the internet, gang. They’ll try to make it like that ’cause it’s the internet, you feel what I’m saying? And then you know how females is.”
He continued, “Females will try to make it like that ’cause they females and they’ll try to make it like one muthafucka fuck with one muthafucka hard. It be just all type of shit. But it ain’t nothing sincere, nothing that you should worry about.”

Von had been spotted hanging with YoungBoy’s ex-girlfriend Jania back in August, but the “Crazy Story” rapper insisted they were only making music together.
Von had just released his Welcome to O’Block album on October 30. He was just 26 years old.
