Gucci Mane isn’t willing to step in the Verzuz arena unless Swizz Beatz and Timbaland have a big payday for him. Guwop told his Twitter followers to stop asking him about the battle series yet named his price tag and welcomed any challenger on Thursday (October 29).
“Stop asking me about doing a @verzuzonline battle unless they got a million dollars they scared of Wop. #GuccimaneVsWhoever,” he wrote.
Gucci isn’t the first artist who’s been reticent to participate in Verzuz. Earlier this year, Mary J. Blige and Bow Wow indicated they wanted no part of the popular series.
But Gucci’s remarks suggest his disinterest is purely related to getting paid. If Swizz and Timbo cut the right check, he’d clearly be willing to battle anybody.

Verzuz aint to get paid. Its a opportunity for older rappers to promote their legacy. I agree, Gucci is still big enough that he probally shouldnt be in one of those. Doing a verzuz kind of makes you seem like a has-been to the younger generation. They dont care about catalogs, only numbers, clicks, and likes.
