Lil Baby has promised “one hell of a week.”

The Atlanta native made the declaration on Twitter on Sunday night (September 20), before previewing a new song on Instagram on Tuesday (September 22). He’s been teasing fans with additional unreleased music frequently as of late as well, so it’s possible he’s gearing up for a new drop of some sort.

Earlier this month, Lil Baby became the first artist to go 2x platinum in 2020 thanks to his last studio album, My Turn. Released in February with a deluxe following in April, the effort became both the No. 1 selling and No. 1 streaming album in the United States in 2020 with over 4 billion streams and counting and featured appearances from the likes of Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug and more.

After debuting at No. 1 and then gradually falling lower, My Turn returned to No. 1 after a 13 week hiatus in June. It made for the largest gap since the soundtrack for A Star Is Born returned to the top spot after 17 weeks in March 2019.

In addition to his own music, Lil Baby has also revealed plans to build out his 4 Pockets Full (4PF) record label in the near future.

“I’m going CEO BABY . I’m about to pop one of the biggest labels around #4PF,” he tweeted on September 13.

Looks like it will be a lot more than one hell of a week for Lil Baby fans to look forward to!
