Tekashi 6ix9ine is spending a small fortune on his hair pieces.

In a new interview with The Shade Room, the “TROLLZ” rapper revealed he drops $15,000 to pay his hair stylist Johnathan Wright every time he switches the look up.

Since his release from prison in April, 6ix9ine has rocked a variety of lace fronts including a blue and green blowout and rainbow braids so he’s definitely running a check up.

6ix9ine has been on the promotion trail for his new album TattleTales, which was released on September 4. Though initially expected to secure a No. 1 debut with projected sales of 150,000, a change in Billboard rules shifted the number drastically. Over 100,000 merch bundles the Brooklyn rapper sold instantly became disqualified, resulting in a readjusted current projection of just around 50,000.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Credits DMX With Help During His Prison Stint

Even 6ix9ine’s close homie Akademiks had to admit the effort flopped, breaking down in a video exactly why the seemingly decent numbers are not good at all.

“You had a No. 1 song in the last couple of months, you’ve done all this trolling — going to Nipsey’s mural, going to O Block — you snitched on n-ggas, you gonna sell 50,000 in the first week and you’ve been clowning other n-ggas who sold 50,000 in the first week,” he said. “You can’t be the numbers guy and then your numbers are weaker than the people you clownin. Doesn’t make sense.”
