Polo G got the ultimate cosign for the Martin-themed video to his track, “Martin & Gina.”
Martin Lawrence himself sat down to watch the Reel Goats-directed visual himself and was beaming the entire time, as seen in a clip he shared to Instagram. In the caption, he shouted out Polo on a job well done as well as his co-star, comedian Pretty Vee.
“Y’all see this!?” Martin wrote. “It’s an honor to see young brothas doin their thing while paying tribute to the show. Much love to @polo.capalot and @yesimprettyvee.”
Lawrence wasn’t the only one to take notice, as Polo shared a DM from “Gina,” Tisha Campbell.

In his caption, Polo celebrated the acknowledgement from the pair.
“Martin Definitely my favorite Tv show of all time so Dis mean a lot to me,” he said.
The song is a cut from Polo’s his sophomore album THE GOAT, released in May and featuring the likes of Lil Baby, NLE Choppa, Mustard, BJ The Chicago Kid, Stunna 4 Vegas and the late Juice Wrld. The effort debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 99,000 album-equivalent units.
