Dr. Dre and Nicole Young are on their way to divorce court after 24 years of marriage.

The news made the rounds last month after Young filed paperwork citing “irreconcilable differences.” Young is reportedly seeking spousal support and division of property — oh yeah, and there’s a prenuptial agreement.

According to TMZ, Dre responded to Young’s divorce filings this month and in his answer (filed by Disso Queen Laura Wasser), the legendary Hip Hop producer said he’ll agree to pay Young spousal support but any distribution of property should be governed by their prenup.

Young failed to mention the prenup in her original paperwork but considering Dre is worth an estimated $800 million, it was probably wise on Dre’s part. Of course, there aren’t any issues relating to child support or custody as both of their children — Truice and Truly — are adults.

Dre noted the date of separation as March 27, a few weeks after the coronavirus lockdown began. Young hired celebrity attorney Samantha Spector to take on the case.
