Rich The Kid is the latest rapper to clash with Tekashi 6ix9ine on social media — and the matter at hand isn’t the trolling artist’s snitching.

While many artists are streaming song battles on Instagram live as a part of Swizz Beatz and Timbaland’s Verzuz series, Rich The Kid wants to start a different kind of battle. After 6ix9ine commented on a story about the Rich Forever Music founder reportedly owing $234,800 for unpaid jewelry, Rich fired back by throwing down the gauntlet via Instagram.

“@6ix9ine we can play if u want,” he wrote. “I got the time & you sure as hell ain’t go more money than me or Jewlery or CARS.”

The Instagram spat can be traced to a TMZ report, which said Rich is being sued for unpaid jewelry bills. Beverly Hills jeweler Peter Marco claims the “New Freezer” creator owes $234,800 for watches and bracelets.

In a reaction post, Rich said his “only jeweler” is Elliot Eliantte and asserted he had no problem paying up for bling.

“I repeat @eliantte is my only jeweler,” he contended. “Y’all other niggas got FAKE stones. stop playin wit my name in the pandemic I might go spend a half a ticket today. God bless.”

Rich and 6ix9ine were already at odds on social media with problems emerging before the jewelry exchange. Last week, the former took issue with the latter’s self-proclaimed status as the “King of New York.”

“Honestly, imagine coming home a [rat emoji] and thinking you’re the King of New York City,” Rich wrote on Instagram Stories. “anybody from the city should be disrespected & that’s just FACTS.”

Although 6ix9ine’s record-breaking return to music has attracted lots of attention, his testimony against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods is still on the minds of many Hip Hop observers.

Meek Mill, in particular, has made no secret about his disdain for the polarizing rapper and even declaraed he’ll “crush [him] for the culture.”
