Lizzo has shared a motivational message following her Saturday Night Live debut. The pop star posted a photo comparing her past days working as a sign spinner to her current status as a Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping artist.

“On the left was when I worked for liberty taxes, as a sign spinner…on the right is my @nbcsnl debut,” she wrote on Instagram. “Don’t stop.. we need you. Your time is coming.”

In the caption, she added, “2020 is yours for the taking.”

Lizzo’s SNL debut, which featured the long-awaited return of former cast member Eddie Murphy as host, was the sketch show’s most-watched episode since 2017.
