LeBron James has a strong affinity for Hip Hop — there’s no doubt about it. Whether bumping Eminem’s Kamikaze album or A&R’ing 2 Chainz’s Rap Or Go To The League album, the NBA superstar always seems to be involved in the culture somehow.

On Friday (November 8), MC Eiht of Compton’s Most Wanted shared a clip of LeBron bumping Eiht’s music to his Instagram account, clearly reveling in the moment.

“GEAH AND THATS BLUESTAMP OFFICIAL,” Eiht wrote in all caps. “SHOUTOUT MY NIA @kingjames ON HIS WAY TO GET ABOVE THE RIM BANGIN THAT #WECOMESTRAPPED GEAH RIDER MUSIC IN FULL EFFECT #UBITCHASSBITCH THE DOUBLE ALBUM ‘OFFICIAL’ COMIN #TWENTYONE9.”

Eiht told HipHopDX, the songs included were “Going Out Like Geez” and “Take 2 Wit Me.”

“Going Out Like Geez” and “Take 2 Wit Me” come from Eiht’s solo album We Come Strapped, which was released in 1994. Eiht recently dropped a new project with CMW called Gangsta Bizness, their first group album in 13 years.

Meanwhile, Eiht is prepping his 14th solo album, Official, the follow-up to 2017’s Which Way Iz West.
