Ja Rule Plans To Make A Video For Every Song He Every Made

Ja Rule’s catalog kicked off in 1999 with his debut studio album Venni Vetti Vecci. Released via Murder Inc. and Def Jam Recordings, the project peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and has since been certified platinum.

Over the years, the rap vet dropped six more albums, culminating with 2012’s Pain Is Love 2. Now, Ja Rule has decided to make a video for every song he’s ever made from every album he’s ever released.

He made the announcement via Twitter on Monday (September 16).

“I will be rereleasing ALL of my albums as visual albums,” he wrote. “I will be making a video for every song I’ve ever made… what songs do y’all wanna see videos for???

Between 1999 and 2005, Ja Rule ruled the Billboard Hot 100 chart and had several Top 20 hits, including “Between Me and You” featuring Christina Milian, “I’m Real (Murder Remix)” and “Ain’t It Funny” with J. Lo as well as the Grammy Award-nominated “Always on Time” with Ashanti, which hit No. 1.

In addition to his multi-platinum album sales, Ja Rule has also earned four Grammy nominations and six Top 10 albums, two of which hit No. 1.

Basically, there’s gonna be a lot of videos. Revisit “Always On Time” below.

    1. if he’s making a video for EVERY SONG HE’S EVER MADE, whats the point in asking what songs peeps wanna see vids for? Ja shouldn’t make false promises like this… we all know he doesn’t have a budget to make that many videos. Unless he makes them all in a day with the same clothes and hoes in front of some green screens.

    2. Wasn’t 50 the first to do this? I think 50 had 2 albums that was visual albums/double albums, one audio and one visual.

    3. It’s weird how old everything is. So much time has vanished since the internet upped its game and turned pocket-portable. Brb – analysing every move I’ve made since 2004

    4. So is he gonna shoot videos for the song with Jay and DMX without them in it? What about all the songs with Hussein Fatal from Blood in my Eye? (Fatal died FYI) Is he even cool with all the peripheral Murder Inc guys anymore because Black child and Cadillac Tah would have to be in more than a few songs.

    5. That idea is actually interesting, but I want someone like Kendrick do it. Imagine if he put out a video for every song on “To Pimp A Butterfly”. It would be such a great way to expand the ideas in the album. And I think Boogies album “Everything’s For Sale” would really benefit something like this from this.

      1. Boogie is fuckin lame sounds like a woman straight up and you wanna listen to a boogie song just hum a bunch guys absolute garbage just like juice world weekend gunna p and b rock they all suck cant even make 1 song without auto tune yet pretend to be r&b singers i drop turds with more talent and skill

    6. Lame! Step your game up Ja and just make a good album. Nobody wants to see a bunch of old videos. Half his music was trash anyways.

    7. Not even gonna front…..When Ja Rule was out i wasn’t fucking with him, I always thought his raps was kinda soft. But when 50 took him out using his own same radio formula i missed JA when he was gone. Ja really got Hip-Hop classics tho.

    8. I’ll stand by this comment until the end of my days: Venni Vetti Vecci was hard AF. Does not get nearly enough credit.
