Snoop Dogg and Migos have collaborated on a track for a new animated adaptation of The Addams Family. MGM has enlisted The Doggfather, Quavo, Offset and Takeoff — along with artists such as Christina Aguilera and Karol G — to create original songs for its upcoming film about the classic characters.
“Christina Aguilera, Migos, Karol G, Rock Mafia and Snoop Dogg are all powerhouse talents,” MGM’s Motion Picture Group President Jonathan Glickman said in a press release. “We could not have asked for a better lineup of global superstars to help audiences embrace the weird and celebrate the absurd with two brand-new songs that perfectly compliment this fresh fun take on MGM’s beloved franchise, just in time for Halloween.”
Snoop and Migos’ collaboration “My Family,” which also features Karol G and Rock Mafia, will be released on Friday (September 13). Aguilera’s “Haunted Heart” is scheduled to drop later this month.
In addition to his musical contributions, Snoop is also providing his voice acting talents to The Addams Family film. The Hip Hop legend will portray Cousin Itt, who notably speaks in gibberish.
The new animated Addams Family film debuts in theaters on October 11.
