Los Angeles’ Skid Row contains one of the largest stable homeless populations in the United States. So, out of the goodness of his heart, Jaden Smith headed down to the impoverished area to put some food in their bellies.
On Sunday (July 7), the ERYS mastermind teamed up with the I Love You vegan restaurant to deliver healthy food from their food truck.
Smith documented the event on his Instagram page. In the caption, he indicated this is only the beginning.
“The @ILoveYouRestaurant Is A Movement That Is All About Giving People What They Deserve,”he wrote. “Healthy, Vegan Food For Free. Today We Launched Our First One Day Food Truck Pop-Up in Downtown LA. Keep A Look Out Because This Is The First Of Many #JADENinc.”
In the video Smith posted, people line up to receive a meal. Several celebrities commented on the video, including Kevin Hart who offered his support.
“This is so dope,” Hart wrote. “I love what you are doing man.”
SZA,YG, Nick Cannon, actress Yara Shahidi, Swizz Beatz and Rapsody are just a handful of his peers showing their gratitude for Smith’s actions.

Vegan, oh wow… If you want to feed them, GIVE PROPER FOOD that keeps the hunger away for a longer time. I do eat some vegan stuff, but only every now and then. Would never ever skip meat altogether. That just keeps the hunger away so well.
