According to The Blast, lawyers for the two rivals have engaged in settlement talks over the thousands of dollars The Game allegedly owes 40. In 2016, 40 claimed he won a $196,335.15 judgment from a lawsuit against his longtime adversary.
40 sued Game again in 2017, accusing the Blood Money Entertainment founder of using shell companies to hide money and dodge paying his debt. When the suit was filed, 40 sought the full amount won in the original judgment plus interest for a total of $216,775.52.
A hearing in the case was scheduled to take place last Friday (June 28), but 40’s attorneys asked for it to be delayed and revealed they were discussing a settlement with Game’s representation. The next hearing has been rescheduled for August to allow both sides to work out a deal.
