Polarizing rapper XXXTENTACION was shot and killed exactly one year ago on June 18, 2018 during what police believe was a botched robbery.
Now, his team has announced a new documentary about his brief but controversial life will arrive in the near future. A trailer was posted to X’s Instagram account on Tuesday (June 18) along with the caption, “Documentary coming soon.”
The IG was later removed, but the trailer was posted on YouTube.
“There’s definitely a difference between Jahseh Onfroy and XXXTENTACION,” he says in the clip. “This is a story, this is the full story and this is the last time I will tell it.”
X was gunned down outside of RIVA Motorsports in Pompano Beach, Florida. The owners of the motorcycle dealership shared their deep sorrow via Twitter shortly after his death along with countless others.
In the wake of X’s passing, several of his releases have been certified multi-platinum, including “Moonlight,” “SAD!” and “Changes.” X’s debut album, ?, and his posthumous release, Skins, both topped the Billboard 200 as well.
No release date for the upcoming documentary has been revealed.

I hope they talk about him beating his pregnant girlfriend.
First off, he didnt touch her, she admitted that part. Second, she was never pregnant, she said that to make him stay with her and to make him feel bad. Third, i know there are pictures and videos of her with black eyes, but those arent from Jahseh, she went to a party and it happened there. And last, even if it did happen, hes gone now so even if he did put his hands on her, theres nothing anybody can do about it now. So grow up and let it go.
Thank you bruh… Some real facts to see at last. As you said, SHE ADMITTED…That X never touched her! If u gonna speak on somebody’s name… First, check the facts and what is real. Bc Internet is full of lies and clickbait and if u even think about it…In his situation…Blowing up…She can be with whoever he wants… Why the hell to make his life hell when he just achieved his dreams and his life is getting better? There is no sense… and in the documentary, you all will hear a secretly recorded conversation between X and someone else…and he tells many things there that the world doesn’t know and that bitch just wants clout. That’s it ffs… Let him rest in peace. He was an amazing artist, a genius for many of us… Someone who helped many of us and still doing it through his music. So if everybody is like Jah… We will live in a much much better world!
Let’s canonize another deadbeat rapper. I’m onboard…
