According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Sanchez filed a petition asking the medical examiner to turn over X’s DNA samples to help her complete a DNA test. Although nobody has really questioned the baby’s paternity, Sanchez apparently wants it on record.
In the docs, Sanchez explained she and X lived together and had “sexual relations during the time that Gekyume was conceived from February 19 through June 18 2018, the day of the Decedent’s death.”
Sanchez is asking the court to permit scientific testing of biological samples of X and the child in order to establish him legally as the father. She also wants the court to order the Office of the Broward County Medical Examiner and Trauma Services to provide DNA samples of X to the scientific testing lab.
X’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, revealed Sanchez was pregnant shortly after his death. He was born seven months later.
