Daz Dillinger agreed to a plea deal following his 2018 arrest for marijuana possession in Georgia. Tha Dogg Pound member avoided jail time by pleading guilty to one count of possession of more than an ounce of marijuana last week, according to documents first obtained by TMZ and confirmed by HipHopDX.
Dillinger, whose real name is Delmar Arnaud, was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.
The deal worked out well for the veteran rapper/producer, who was facing up to 25 years in prison after being indicted on two felony drug charges.
Last September, Dillinger was arrested at his Powder Springs, Georgia home as part of a drug raid. Police found 117 grams of marijuana, 10 THC pods, THC oil, a THC vaporizer and a container labeled “Cannabis Lean.”

He was initially booked for 12 counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of more than one ounce of marijuana. Only two charges stuck in the indictment against Dillinger, but one was later dismissed due to insufficient evidence.
