As the 20th anniversary of Eminem’s Slim Shady LP approaches, Marshall Mathers is celebrating early with a reissue of his 1999 masterpiece. Em made the announcement via Twitter on Friday (February 22).
“From the vault!” he wrote. “Re-issue of the Slim Shady LP Expanded Edition is now streaming for the first time for the 20th Anniversary. Happy bday Shady! #SSLP20 #STILLDONTGIVEAFUCK.”
As the title suggests, the Slim Shady LP Expanded Edition includes 10 bonus features not initially found on the original. Songs such as “Hazardous Youth (A Cappella),” “Get You Mad,” “Bad Guys Always Die” from the Wild Wild West soundtrack and several versions of “Guilty Conscience” featuring Dr. Dre round out the classic O.G. version.
The Slim Shady LP was released on February 23, 1999 and boasted production from Dre and the Bass Brothers.

I would have put Any Man and or Watch Deez in there but wtf do I know. 20 versions of Guilty Conscious works too
Any Man was a Ruckus record. But props on the select.
Yeah and I think Watch Deez is a Thirstin Howl record but there’s nothing wrong with a lil Skilligan so throw it in there! #LoLife4Life
It’s one bonus track and a bunch of acappellas and instrumentals.
Exacta-mundo. Nothing to see here.
Brain Damage! Ever since the day I was born …
Also known as the anniversary of the day man discovered fire
Lame
Ha! In that picture Eminem looks like he’s leaning on a cane yelling “get off my lawn!”
Hopefully this gets a vinyl release, The Slim Shady LP needs a decent re-issue.
By far his best album because it’s devoid of “Overdramatical Angry Eminem”
The only halfway decent album he ever made. Second-rate Redman but still entertaining enough. Probably not worth revisiting if you’re over the age of 12 though.
Instead of multiple versions of guilty he should have included the international versions of songs. My Fault Pizza remix comes to mind. Em had so many songs back then creating your own Eminem Expansion was easy.
role model still his best song
With all the excellent tracks Em released around the SSLP we get 18 versions of Guilty Conscience and IDGAF? Pass…
swear those bonus tracks were already available on international versions.
you’re absolutely right.
Bonus tracks should’ve been:
Get You Mad /
Bad Guys Always Die /
Bad Influence /
Hellbound /
Scary Movies /
Watch These /
Any Man /
Crazy (w mad rapper) /
All tracks recorded around the SSLP time. All dope as hell…
Personally I think including all the tracks from Slim Shady EP or reissuing that would have been awesome. Oh well, it’s pretty much a streaming playlist so costs us nothing.
Yes! THATS what they shouldve done! Also, remaster Infinite while theyre at it.
