While Eminem was on tour in Australia, the crowd at a recent Brisbane show demanded a performance of the Machine Gun Kelly diss track, “Killshot.” Rather than oblige, Em called MGK a “cocksucker” and moved on with his set.

MGK evidently caught wind of Slim Shady’s sentiments and retaliated on Twitter.
“ay @Eminem u made the right decision not dropping that weak ass song in concert and putting everyone to sleep,” he tweeted. “#RapDevil.” His tweet also included a series of emojis, including a thumbs down and a person throwing something in a trash bin.
Released last September, “Killshot” served as a response to MGK’s Slim Shady diss, “Rap Devil.” The track marked YouTube’s biggest Hip Hop video debut in the platform’s history and sparked a community-wide debate over who won the battle.
Redman, who was at HipHopDX headquarters earlier this month, weighed in on the debate and gave props to both participants, but took issue with one particular line.
“MGK, you did a great job on that fuckin’ battle, but there’s one thing you never fuckin’ do,” he said. “One thing. And that’s talkin’ about a man’s sweatpants. You can talk about his mama, but you do not talk about a man’s sweatsuit.”

Eh. I’m an old Eminem fan. But here’s how it goes… MGK made the better sounding song and Eminem has better lyricism. Eminem used to be amazing at making classic, great sounding music. Not really anymore. If Eminem of 15 years ago dossed MGK, it would have been a classic track like Nail in the coffin. So, honestly, it’s sad to say, I would rather listen to the MGK doss than Eminem’s robot flow.

I’m a big Eminem fan too and I have to agree he’s just not great at making great sounding music anymore. The diss track aside, it doesn’t seem like he can write an above average hook anymore, and while he has several flows, they all sound very similar. So I get where the robot flow idea comes from. But he is still far and away the better technical rapper, and in regards to the diss tracks, I still like Killshot better. Honestly, Rap Devil just sounds like complete trash to me, and the autotune was corny to say the least. Also, hooks on diss tracks are totally unnecessary, so I think that is a bad way to judge one. I just don’t get when people say MGK “made the better song.” The claim doesn’t really make sense in a rap battle, where “better song” just isn’t a factor, but it also is just totally untrue. The song is a dumpster fire.
