Burgeoning rapper Blueface was reportedly arrested in Los Angeles on Friday night (February 1). According to TMZ, the Cash Money West rapper was downtown around 7 p.m. local time when police got a call about “rappers in the area” who were carrying large amounts of cash and flaunting lots of jewelry.
Police were supposedly worried about the recent gang-related robberies and feared they were an “easy target.”
When LAPD arrived on the scene, Blueface and his entourage tossed their weapons and attempted to flee on foot. But Blueface and two others were apprehended. Cops discovered loaded firearms in their possession. As a result, Blueface was arrested for felony gun possession. He was released after posting $35,000 bail.
Blueface recently made headlines following an interview with The Breakfast Club last week. During the conversation, he apparently didn’t understand he was signed to four labels — not just Cash Money West.
