Big Soulja: Twitter Vouches For Soulja Boy’s Cocky Breakfast Club Interview

Soulja Boy made some bold claims during a recent interview with The Breakfast Club. Among them, he said he taught Drake “everything he knows” and basically invented the viral internet star. But he wasn’t entirely out of his mind.

In fact, countless people backed Big Soulja up on Twitter, demanding others give Soulja credit where credit is due.

After all, the Atlanta-bred rapper spawned the biggest dance craze since 1995’s “Macarena” when he dropped an instructional YouTube video on how to do the Soulja Boy Dance to “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” in 2007.

For the past 12 years, Soulja has maintained his online presence and continues to stir the pot. In addition to The Breakfast Club interview, he recently flipped out after several social media users accused him on being on crack following a car accident.

But, it looks like Soulja has plenty of people in his corner, including Meek Mill and Lil B. [apple_news_ad type=”any”]

    1. Pioneer? How about gimmick? It was only a matter of time before someone with no talent went viral, Soulja just beat everybody to it. That made him lucky and opportunistic if anything, I’ll give him that.

    2. Big Soulja set up a lot of shit. Like homie said if you know, you know. Old heads can’t give props for nothing but some 90s biggie and Tupac trash. This 2019 leave them sorry dudes in 96

      1. Shut up. this tireless argument again?? There would be no Soulja if not for his predecessors… There would be no Biggie and Tupac without influences of who came before them. Hip Hop is the only genre of music concerned with age, which says a lot about the people who listen and make ageism a thing (young and old). U gotta know what’s for you and what’s not for you and what is damaging the culture and what’s not and keep it moving. end of story.

    3. Crank that was a slightly cooler “chicken noodle soup”, he did nothing special other than emulate other one hit wonders who have a dance to go with their song. Why he is even mentioned ever as anyone of any significance in hip hop is beyond me. I’m happy for him that he is still making money, but in terms of hip hop, he doesn’t exist.
