The postponement of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Dummy Boy hasn’t stopped fans from listening to the project. The delayed release, which was originally scheduled to drop on Black Friday (November 23), has leaked online.
The leak of 6ix9ine’s latest work continues a string of bad developments for the controversial rapper, who was arrested and indicted on racketeering charges last week. The rainbow color-haired rhymer is currently sitting behind bars while he waits for a bail hearing in the case.
6ix9ine’s incarceration forced his team to alter the rollout for his Dummy Boy project. Last Wednesday (November 21), the project’s delay was announced via Instagram.
“Due to circumstances beyond our control we have postponed the release of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s ‘DUMMY BOY’ until further notice,” a post from 6ix9ine’s account reads.

Links to the Dummy Boy leak have popped up on a variety of file sharing sites as well as streaming outlets such as Spinrilla. Songs from the project have also surfaced on YouTube with some users trying to subvert copyright claims by altering the speed of the audio.
6ix9ine’s Dummy Boy features 13 tracks, including the Nicki Minaj-assisted single “FEFE.” Kanye West, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Gunna, Lil Baby and Tory Lanez are among the guests appearing on the project.
