A lot of sneaker fans and industry watchers have been speculating about the health of Yeezy, the collaboration between adidas and Kanye West. But according to adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted, the Yeezy line is thriving.
Rorsted recently spoke with CNBC and revealed ‘Ye’s movements outside of his creative endeavors haven’t been a concern for the company.
“We don’t sign up to all the statements he makes,” Rorsted said. “We sign up for all the creative work we jointly do, which has been extremely successful for both parties.”

Rorsted also shared that he sees the relationship with Kanye lasting for years and is confident there’s been “absolutely no slowdown” in sales.
“If [West] stays away from politics, that’s his choice,” Rorsted explained. “We’ve had a great relationship with him.”
