Roc Nation will executive produce a TV series based on Malorie Blackman’s young adult novel Noughts & CrossesAccording to Variety, the company will also handle soundtrack duties for the show, while Mammoth Screen serves as the producer for the BBC series.

Patrick Reardon — who will executive produce for Roc Nation — told Variety, “We are thrilled to partner with Mammoth Screen and Participant Media on this series, which explores issues of race and discrimination through such a provocative and unexpected lens.”

Noughts & Crosses tells the tale of a 21st-century society where people of African descent are members of the ruling class and white people are part of the underclass.
