Jaden Smith was a recent call-in guest on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show where he debuted a new song “Back On My Shit.” It serves as the first single from his forthcoming album, ERYS. For those who aren’t paying attention, ERYS isSYRE backwards — the name of his 2017 album.

A$AP Rocky, Young Thug, his sister Willow and Tyler The Creator are expected to appear onthe rap-heavy project.

“I like to experiment and stuff but at the end of the day, the people have spoken on what they like from me so I try to come really really hard. I’m just tryna lead up until ERYS,” he explained. “You know, so that people can kind of start to slowly make that transition with me into the more rap world.

“ERYS is going to be just extremely hard. Just every song, back-to-back, high tempo, a lot of bass like just crazy.”

During the interview, Jaden also talked about how his father Will Smith plans to celebrate his 50th birthday.
