Dipset vet Juelz Santana appeared to brush off reports that he needed a mental health evaluation. In an Instagram post uploaded on Sunday (July 1), Santana wrote, “U Crazy For 4 Believing Every Thing U Hear.”
On Saturday (June 30), Bossip reported federal pretrial services officer Jennifer Powers believed Santana is in immediate need of a mental health evaluation and treatment.
Powers’ request reportedly received the go-ahead from the judge in Santana’s case immediately.
It’s unclear what exactly Powers observed that caused concern for the Harlem rapper’s mental health.

In March, Santana tried to pass a gun through Newark Liberty International Airport but fled from authorities once it was discovered. After turning himself in to Port Authority police, he was charged with two felonies, including carrying a firearm on an aircraft and possessing a weapon as a previously convicted felon. TSA also found oxycodone pills, which he didn’t have a prescription for. He faces up to 20 years in prison if the charges go to court.
Santana is currently on his third month under house arrest at his mother’s home. [apple_news_ad type=”any”]
