Despite a tumultuous year, Tekashi 6ix9ine is staying active with new music and drama on social media. But a recent development regarding an incident from January 6, 2018 might finally put a damper on all of that. According to iHeartRadio, the Houston police issued a “citation/warrant” for Daniel Hernandez aka Tekashi 6ix9ine on May 10.
The citation is for misdemeanor assault toward a teenager named Santiago Albarran. Albarran reportedly approached 6ix9ine, who was hanging out with Ugly God at a mall in Houston, and called him a “gay ice cream truck” and “walking lollipop.”
6ix9ine then allegedly grabbed Albarran by the collar, leaving marks on his neck. Albarran took to Twitter afterward to claim that 6ix9ine had choked him out in front of his family.
After several calls to the Houston police, clerks offices, and courts, HipHopDX was unable to confirm the official issuance of the warrant. Two bail bonding companies could not find any records for an arrest or a warrant for 6ix9ine in their systems.

His recent New York court date stemming from a guilty plea to a charge of the use of a child in a sexual performance had been postponed due to the score of his GED being unavailable.
