Stockholm, Sweden

G-Eazy was reportedly released from a Swedish jail on Friday (May 4). As reported by The Blast, G-Eazy’s Swedish lawyer, Mikael Westerlund, said the Beautiful & Damned rapper was convicted on charges of assault, possession and use of narcotics.

The consequences of the conviction have not been disclosed but Westerlund did confirm G-Eazy was a “free man.”

The 28-year-old was arrested early Thursday morning (May 3) at a club in Stockholm, shortly after he’d finished performing a show. Due to his reportedly “belligerent” behavior, the club’s security guards asked him to calm down but G-Eazy started throwing punches.

Once police arrived on the scene, they found him in possession of 1.5 grams of cocaine and a rolled up $100 bill.
