Toronto, Canada

There was a little more action on the court than expected during Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Playoffs Eastern Conference Semifinals on Tuesday night (May 1) when the Toronto Raptors took on the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Drake, who is a courtside regular at the Air Canada Centre and the Raptors’ team ambassador, evidently exchanged a few words with veteran Cav Kendrick Perkins twice  — once at the end of the first half and again after the game.

In a video posted to Twitter, Drake appears agitated as he confronts Perkins. As Perkins walks off, the “Nice For What” artist continues shouting at him.

For round two, Perkins and Drake again start yelling at each other, and Dreezy can be heard saying, “I never said that. I never said that.”

According to a tweet from EPSN staff writer Dave McMenamin, “Kendrick Perkins on the Drake confrontation: ‘I was f—ing with Serge (Ibaka), my old teammate’ Perkins said after the game. ‘I wasn’t talking to (Drake). He said something slick so I said something back: ‘Sit your ass down and watch the game.'”

Thanks in part to LeBron’s triple double — 26 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds — the Cavs walked away with a 113-112 victory during overtime. [apple_news_ad type=”any”]
