03 Greedo has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after agreeing to a plea deal for gun and drug charges in Texas, according to journalist Jeff Weiss.
The Los Angeles rapper was facing a possible 300-year sentence for first-degree possession of a controlled substance and third-degree unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Greedo was arrested by Potter County Sheriff deputies after being stopped on a highway in Texas in 2016. Police found four pounds of methamphetamine and two stolen pistols after conducting a search of his vehicle.
The Wolf Of Grape Streetartist won’t begin serving time until the summer, as revealed in an Instagram post on Monday (April 30).

“I’m not in jail… No, I’m not in jail,” he declared in the video. “I’m not lying about being in jail, the media lying. I don’t have life. I do have a lotta time. I ain’t going ’til the summertime. OK? If you fuck with me, fuck with me. If you pissed me off, I ain’t tripping, unless it’s some real like bloodshed type of beef.”
Greedo confirmed he took a deal but noted he was in no rush to begin his prison sentence.
“You think I’ma just go to jail, take the deal and then just say, ‘Take me now!’ Nah, nigga, gimme some extra time, nigga,” he said. “Lemme go on tour. Lemme get this money right for my kids.”
Greedo agreed to the plea deal last week, leading to speculation that he was already behind bars. An ominous Twitter message sent out on April 25 fueled the rumors.
