Azealia Banks headed to Instagram on Wednesday (January 31) to celebrate her new $1 million record deal with E1 Entertainment. The post, which was accompanied by audio of Banks, reads: “GOT A MILLION DOLLAR DEAL. IM BACK ON THE BLOCK. JUST SIGNED THE CONTRACT.”

In the caption, she wrote, “I’m now officially signed to E1 Entertainment!! I HAVE A HOME AGAIN… I’m crying. The Industry left me out on the street like a stray dog and now I have shelter again. This is really making me cry I’m so happy and grateful and thankful for all of this and I promise I’m going to make the KUNTS so proud. Thank you guys so freaking much you don’t know how much this means to me @eone_music @williamrobillardcole.”

In a statement to HipHopDX, E1 Entertainment’s William Robillard Cole said, “Azealia Banks is an incredible artist who we are proud and excited to welcome to Entertainment one. I decided to sign her because her talent and music is undeniably brilliant. New music soon!”

Banks, who’s routinely in the headlines more often for her puzzling behavior than her music, later expressed gratitude for her fans via Instagram and explained how her “broken household” affected her.

YOU are the loves of my life. I don’t need anyone else but my kunts. Thank you for everything.”

Ahead of the announcement, Banks revealed she’s working on her forthcoming full-length project, Fantasea II: The Second Wave, and wanted the first official single, “Anna Wintour,” to feature Nicki Minaj.

Fantasea II: The Second Wave is expected to arrive in March.
