Payroll Giovanni and Cardo are taking their boss moves to a major label. The MC/producer duo, who released the critically acclaimed Big Bossin Vol. 1 together in 2016, has inked a deal with Def Jam Recordings. The label announced the signing in a tweet on Thursday (December 21).

Giovanni was in a celebratory mood, tweeting out his own message about the deal an hour later.

Cardo — the producer behind Travis Scott’s hit single “Goosebumps” — shared his thoughts on the signing via Instagram, noting that it was capping off an incredible year in his career. He also teased the release of Big Bossin Vol. 2.
