Producer Cardo Reveals The Other Artists Who Got Travis Scott’s “goosebumps” Beat

“Don’t Tell Me,” a collab between PARTYNEXTDOOR and Jeremih that dropped over the weekend, has since been removed from the internet.

That could have something to do with the track making use of Cardo’s beat for Travis Scott’s 2016 track “goosebumps” featuring Kendrick Lamar.

DJ Booth investigated the matter by contacting Cardo to see who else besides Travis had been sent the beat, and Cardo obliged, texting: “Only three to four people had that beat. That was Drake, ScHoolboy Q, Future—don’t know if he ever got it—Rihanna and I sent it to Young Thug as well.”

The report goes on to speculate that the beat could have somehow ended up in PARTYNEXTDOOR’s hands as a result of him being on Drake’s OVO record label. The article also refers to the release of “Don’t Tell Me” as “unsanctioned”— something that rings true now that the audio has been removed from YouTube.

Neither PND not Jeremih have commented on the release and subsequent takedown of their song on social media.

    1. Knowing producers send out beats to many artists, I wonder how many better versions of songs exist that maybe another artist just beat out the competition with an inferior song
