Atlanta rapper Trouble, best known for his 2011 single “Bussin,” was arrested for drug possession on Sunday (November 26) according to DeKalb County Sheriff Office records. The Duct Tape Entertainment artist, whose real name is Mariel Semonte Orr, was booked on charges of marijuana possession, possession of schedule II and IV controlled substances, and possession with intent to distribute.
Trouble is no stranger to run-ins with the law, having been arrested on multiple occasions and previously serving time in prison. He was last arrested in July 2016 on seven charges, including firearm possession.
On Instagram, Trouble told his followers that he’d been in the midst of the best year of his life up until his legal woes resurfaced. He noted that he was turning himself in and indicated that his prison sentence would not be over until sometime in 2018.
