The power couple – who forked out $9 million for the one-acre property four years ago – recently sold it for $17.8 million to a Ukrainian philanthropist named Marina Acton, according to TMZ. Acton, who is moving to L.A. to pursue a career in music, is said to find the house “creative and inspiring.”
The price tag makes it the most expensive sale ever in the exclusive, guard-gated community of Bel-Air Crest.
Despite having reportedly shelled out millions of dollars to rejuvenate the property, Kanye and Kim are still set to make profit on the 10,000-square-foot lot.
The house made headlines last holiday season after the couple decorated the property with a dazzling display of Christmas lights.
Kanye and Kim are now planning on moving into their new home in the Hidden Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. It’s reported that the couple have sunk an estimated $10 million into the three-acre estate, which they bought for $20 million in 2014.
