Cryptocurrency — digital cash that essentially takes on the form of data and used primarily online — is currently in high demand. Consequently, Los Angeles-based rapper Nipsey Hussle has invested in an Amsterdam-based cryptocurrency company called Follow Coin. The Victory Lap artist announced the partnership via Instagram on Tuesday (August 22).
“We Purchased an ownership stake in @followcoinltd this am,” Nip captioned under an Instagram post. “This is a landmark for us because we have been passionate about investing into tech for years now. We plan to be aggressive in adding value here and informing the word about the limitless possibilities of not only this Service/Platform but crypto currency in general!”
With so many forms of cryptocurrency available, including Bitcoin, Follow Coin aims to make them more accessible.
According to its official site, Follow Coin has a specific end game in mind. “Our goal is to lower the barriers of crypto investment markets by providing tools and services that make interacting, handling and trading crypto coins easy,” it reads. “For a lot of people that are new to the world of cryptocurrency it is often difficult to know when to buy which coin. Now Follow Coin is here to help you out.”

For $250, anyone can invest it into the company’s second round of pre-ICO until August 30.
Nip’s partnership with Follow Coin comes on the heels of his investment and relaunching of beloved Los Angeles roller rink World on Wheels.
