Tinashe has reportedly found herself in a terrifying predicament involving a delusional fan. Twenty-five-year-old Martin Murphy believes the two are married. In June, Murphy allegedly drove from Boston to Los Angeles, putting him in close proximity to Tinashe’s parents’ home.
The Kentucky-born R&B artist, who requested and obtained a restraining order against Murphy, also discovered he’s attempting to reinstate his Massachusetts license to carry a firearm. Murphy’s father is concerned Tinashe is in danger and explained his son “suffered a psychotic break and is unable to distinguish reality from fantasy.”
A judge ordered Murphy to stay at least 100 yards away from Tinashe and her parents.

Despite her current ordeal, Tinashe appears to be busy in the studio. On Tuesday (July 25), the singer uploaded an Instagram photo of a recording studio and added the caption, “been in my zone.”
