Rich Homie Quan was arrested on his way to a show in Georgia Saturday (May 27), TMZ reports.

His car was stopped at a police checkpoint when authorities arrested the former Rich Gang rapper and five other men because they suspected them of possessing a stolen gun and drugs, which were supposedly marijuana and ecstasy.

Rich Homie and his friends were detained in Jefferson County Jail, where he was still being held at the time of publication. In Georgia, police can hold a person for 48 hours without charging them. The investigation is ongoing.

The “Flex” rapper has been fairly quiet on the music side of things, but announced in February that he joined the Motown roster under the Capitol umbrella.
