Logic is enjoying a new high after his third full-length album, Everybody, knocked Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. out of its three-week reign, giving the 27-year-old his first chart-topping album on the Billboard 200.
The proudly biracial rapper is also headlining a North American tour with Joey Bada$$ later this year. To celebrate his success, he took to Twitter to give several words of advice.
“Be yourself,” he tweeted. “As the world tells you that you aren’t good enough, or tries to label you or your art. Just remember your awesome!”
On Tuesday (May 16), HipHopDX dropped its official 3.6 review of Everybody, where writer Andrew Gretchko said, “Hip Hop’s gatekeepers will say that timing and the repetitive nature of Logic’s lyrics hurts Everybody but for Logic’s younger core fan base, especially those going through struggles of their own, his latest work will be the catharsis to keep them from plunging off the deep end.”
