Houston, Texas

Canadian singer/rapper Drake provided added details on his latest business venture, The Ballet, during a pop-up event in Houston, Texas over the holiday weekend.

Based on the hints Drake has dropped so far, the likely guess would be that The Ballet is a high-end, dance-centric strip club, but a confirmation of that has yet to be revealed.

Hints aside, the honorary Houstonian has confirmed that the venue will in fact be located in H-Town and will open in 2017.

“It’s 12:45 at night,” Drake said, during his pop-up event Monday (September 5). “And I just want to thank everybody for coming out tonight…There’s a culture out there of dancing. And it’s not about no strip club shit. It’s really about these amazing women that we got in one spot. This music that we got. This Houston culture that we got.”

Other (far more NSFW) video has also appeared from the event, showing women in various states of undress performing strip club dance moves on a stage while bills rain down from the sky.

Drake also shared what appears to be a logo for The Ballet in a post uploaded to Instagram on Monday.

“Tonight is a different take on how it should be done in Houston,” Drake wrote in a caption to his post. “Treat yourself don’t cheat yourself. Where the women are on a pedestal and the surroundings are unforgettable. The Ballet pop up tonight for HAW. Grand opening early 2017.”
