Less than a week after saying he left OVO on good terms, ILOVEMAKONNEN dissed both Drake and his former recording home.
“What’s that nigga album?” ILOVEMAKONNEN says in a video posted to PMWHIPHOP.com’s YouTube page yesterday (April 24). “What’s that dumb-ass album with the sky shit?”
Yesterday, Drake released the cover art to his forthcoming Views From the 6 album, which features him sitting on the CN Tower in Toronto.
Drake collaborated with ILOVEMAKONNEN on the hit song “Tuesday,” which was released through Drake’s OVO imprint.

ILOVEMAKONNEN offers a reason why he left the company in the video posted by PMWHIPHOP.com.
“Why’d you leave OVO? Because I was underweight now,” he says. “When I was overweight, they was fucking with me. That’s what OVO stands for, Overweight Only.”
Last week, ILOVEMAKONNEN released a statement about his departure from OVO.
“I cannot thank OVO, 40, Oliver, Future & Mr. Morgan, enough for all that they have done for my career,” the statement said. “No words can express how much I appreciate Drake for being a part of the success of Tuesday. I’m sure the haters will have something negative to say, but all in all my choice to be solely on Warner Bros Records was the right thing for me and for my best interest. Sorry there’s no beef to report, DRINK MORE WATER. ILOVEMAKONNEN.”
