Tyga blames his rift with fellow Young Money artist Drake on miscommunication and the media.

The pair began feuding with one another after Tyga called Drizzy “fake” during an interview with VIBE in October, 2014.

“It was really never no problem,” Tyga said during a recently published interview with 106 KMEL’s Shay Diddy. “It was miscommunication. It was media. And then once you get into the petty game, it’s like, ‘Alright, let’s just be petty all day.’ But you know, it was more like media and stuff. We never really had a problem or nothing like that. And then I think over time, people grow apart. You don’t know what the other side is feeling. You don’t know what he talking about. You don’t know what she talking about. You just lose that communication with somebody.

“Then we had just linked up,” Tyga added. “‘Ye put us in a room when he had his fashion show, I think it was Yeezy Season 2, and we just chopped it up for a long time about a lot of stuff. It’s all about conversation and communication. Everything these days is misled. You can read a headline.”
