Chris Brown announced on Instagram that he will donate proceeds from his forthcoming Royaltyalbum, which is named after his daughter, to children’s charities.  One dollar from every album sold from current pre-orders through Christmas Day will be given to Children’s Miracle Network and Best Buddies.

“The holidays are all about giving back,” the singer says in a video post.

Children’s Miracle Network has raised more than $5 billion for local children’s hospitals since its inception in 1983. According to the organization’s website, every minute 62 children are checked into a hospital supported by Children’s Miracle Network.

Best Buddies is a non-profit that seeks to provide mentorship to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization has eight programs that seek to develop relationships with these individuals from middle school through employment.
