Vince Staples Calls Spike Lee’s “Chi-Raq” Trailer “Coocoo”

The trailer for Spike Lee‘s forthcoming movie, Chi-Raq was released Tuesday (November 3) and caused several Chicago rappers to express their frustrations with the clip on social media.

Long Beach, California rapper Vince Staples added his voice to the conversation today (November 6) with a couple of Twitter posts.

“This Chiraq trailer is jokes Spike Lee is coocoo for cocoa puffs,” he says. “They gave Nick Cannon a burner this is about to be interesting.”

    1. Don’t really like this guy. He has some stupid shot to say everything I read his comments. Vince. You still a krab. No matter your opinions. Young boi stay in your lane

    2. I love how hiphopdx puts all these no name rappers on their site. Seriously vince staples. What the fuck is a Vincent staples?

    3. This coming from the same guy who said we didn’t have a Kanye West of the 90s when Kanye ain’t shit compared to Tupac no disrespect but Gianni Versace himself said that pac should be the face of versace. Vince Staples tend to say a lot of shit but invalid. Can’t listen to him on wax or interviews.

    4. Old fuckers still mad about his 90s comment lol Vince you better watch what you say they might pull the belt out on you lol

      1. I’m younger than him. His corny ass never know what he talking about. If he said that dumb ass comment about the 90s now this. He don’t be speaking facts. Fact of the matter is Jennifer Hudson is in this movie and if anybody know her story. They would know this is not just about comedy.
